NC 소프트(NC Soft)의 ‘재미있는 야구백서’는 NC 야구단 창립을 기념하면서, 야구를 잘 모르는 어린이나 여성을 타깃으로 더욱 쉽고 재미있게 야구 관련 전문 지식을 제공하고자 제작된 아이패드용 애플리케이션입니다. 디자인피버에서 제작한 ‘캡슐맨’ 이라는 캐릭터를 활용하여 쉽고 재미있게 야구 지식을 알려주는 것이 주요 특징이며, 허구연 해설위원의 목소리와 캐릭터 영상으로 감상하는 ‘야구길라잡이’, 야구의 어려운 용어들을 캐릭터의 모션을 통해 알아보는 ‘야구용어사전’, 그동안 잘 몰랐던 야구의 재미있는 이야기들을 담은 ‘야구이야기’, OX 퀴즈로 알아보는 야구상식 ‘야구 퀴즈’, 게임을 즐기며 야구 지식도 습득할 수 있는 ‘미니게임’ 의 메뉴로 구성되어 있습니다.
‘Baseball Dictionary’ is iPad application created by NCSoft to commemorate the founding of their baseball team, the NC Dinos. The purpose of the application is to target men, women, and children who are unfamiliar with baseball, providing them with baseball-related fun and expertise about the sport. It provides basic information about baseball in 5 distinct sections, featuring a ‘Capsule Man’ character illustrated by designfever. Users can watch the movements of the characters while listening to commentator GuYeon Heo in ‘Baseball Tutorial’, learn baseball lingo with the ‘Baseball Dictionary’, read fun stories in ‘Baseball Story’, answer true or false questions in ‘Baseball Quiz’, and play fun games related to baseball in ‘Mini Games’.
