
Overview
‘가능성 프로젝트(Possibility Project)’는 SK 텔레콤의 새로운 기업 프로모션 캠페인 ‘가능성을 만나다’가 진행됨에 따라 기업의 가치를 사용자와 함께 공유하기 위해 기획된 소셜 네트워크 캠페인입니다. 페이스북 플랫폼을 적극적으로 활용, 사회에 의미 있는 일을 실현할 수 있는 가능성의 주제들을 발굴하고, 개인의 ‘재능’을 모아 해당 주제의 ‘가능성’을 실현하고자 하였습니다.
As a part of SK Telecom’s commercial campaign, ‘Meet the Possibility’, the ‘Possibility Project’ was created to promote the company’s value through social networks. Taking advantage of the Facebook platform, the project’s goal was to discover and implement meaningful social movements created with the themes submitted by talented users.

Process
가능성 아이디어를 선정하는 단계부터 실현하는 단계까지 총 3단계의 프로세스를 운영하였습니다.
1단계 (8/30 ~ 9/21) – 가능성 아이디어 공모
SK 텔레콤 facebook page에서 "버려진 ( )이/가 모이면 ( )이/가 가능해집니다"는 문장을 기반으로 가능성 아이디어를 공모하였습니다. 모인 약 2천여 가지의 아이디어 중 ‘버려진 자전거가 모이면 누군가의 희망 자전거가 됩니다’라는 주제를 선정하였습니다.
2단계 (9/28 ~ 10/28) – 가능성 아이디어 실현을 위한 재능기부
선정된 주제 실현을 위해 폐자전거 기부, 희망 자전거 제작을 위한 재능기부, 희망 자전거가 필요한 곳을 추천 받는 3가지 형태의 기부를 받았습니다.
3단계 (11월 중) – 아이디어 실현 단계
유저의 재능기부를 바탕으로 ‘희망 자전거’를 제작, 기부 수혜자에게 희망 자전거 전달
기타: 그날의 가능성 (8/30 ~ 10/30) – 궁금한 날짜에 나에게 일어날 가능성을 알려주는 앱
날짜만 선택하면 그날 나에게 일어날 만한 ‘가능성’을 재미있게 과장하여 보여주는 방식으로 많은 사람들에게 재미를 선사하였습니다.
A three-step process was created to bring ideas into fruition
Step 1 (8/30 ~ 9/21) - Potential ideas competition
An idea contest was held on SK Telecom’s Facebook page where users submitted ideas incorporating the two themes of ‘making it possible’ and ‘gathering the abandonded’. Among the 2,000 ideas submitted, “We can make it possible to give ‘Bicycles for Hope’ to the right people by gathering abandoned bicycles” was chosen.
Step 2 (9/28 ~ 10/28) - Contributing talents for the realization of the idea
For realization of the idea chosen, 3 different contributions were made; used bicycles, talents of creating Bicycles of Hope, and the recommendation of a place where the Bicycles of Hope was needed.
Step 3 (November) - Realizing the ideas
Based on the user’s contribution, ‘Bicycles of Hope’ were created and delivered to the recipients.
ETC.: Possibility of that day (8/30 ~ 10/30) - An application informing you the potential events on a certain date.
When the user chose a certain date, the application showed the ‘potential’ events of that day, bringing joy to a wider audience.

- 1:1 소통 및 빠른 확산, 공유가 가능한 페이스북 플랫폼 특징을 활용,
- ‘가능성을 만나다’라는 새로운 메시지를 공유할 수 있는 캠페인 전개로 사용자의 자발적인 참여를 이끔
- 캠페인 기간 내 3천여 건 이상의 참여자 확보
- 5, 6천명 이상의 팬 증가
- 사회적 공감대가 높은 아이디어 실현
- 개인과 각계 단체의 재능기부 활성화
사용자 개인은 폐자전거, 자전거 제작에 필요한 기술, 아이디어 등을 기부하였고 서울 용산 두바퀴 자전거와 대구 YMCA 희망자전거제작소는 재생자전거 기술을 기부하였습니다. 그외에도 서울잠원한강지구에서는 장소를, 국기원 태권도 시범단은 라이딩을 기부하였습니다.
사용자와 함께 만들어진 희망 자전거 250대는 사용자의 의견을 바탕으로 자전거가 필요한 사회단체(여수 장애인종합복지관, 전국의 대안학교)에 기부되었습니다.

Individual participants offered their own used bicycles, knowledge of mechanical technology, and creative ideas for the project. Seoul Yongsan Dubaqui Jajeongeo contributed professional knowledge, Daegu YMCA ‘Hope Bike’ offered use of their special recycling technology, and Seoul Jamwon Han River Area provided a place to ride bicycles while Kukkiwon gave instructions for beginners. As a result, 250 ‘Bicycles of Hope’ were created and donated to social communities and alternative schools, like the Yeosu Welfare Center for the Disabled.
